Friends

This evening Sara and the girls came over for a neighborhood block party.  Aren’t they just too cute!!  The kiddos had lots of fun running around and I think we managed to avoid too much candy.

 

Fall

The leaves have fallen, we picked out some pumpkins, but until yesterday we still had 80 degree weather….here are few pictures I took earlier this week when it was so warm…wanted to snap some more, but they were more interested in playing than getting their picture taken.

I'm going through withdrawls right now...my laptop is being very tempermental, so I've had to resort to using the old slow desktop, which doesn't have photoshop elements or a place to plug in my sd card...I couldn't even find the cord to upload pictures...anyway, hopefully after a few more hours of being on the phone with dell customer service we'll be good...until then...check out this cutie!

On the women’s retreat I attended this past weekend our speaker talked about how to have fun with your family.  She really encouraged us that the Lord wants us to have joy and fun in our families.  She had tons of creative ideas, so I decided I would start small…

Fun with Mimi & Papaw

Last weekend I got to go on a women’s retreat while Mimi & Papaw came and watched the kiddos.  Thank you!! It was a great weekend away and I know Jace and Sydney had lots of fun too!!

Sorry for the long hiatus…we’re back in the swing of things, we’re all well &Jason just got back from his month in the field.

Thanks Aunt Jenn for the yummy Smiley Face cookies….we thoroughly enjoyed them, they were just our size too!!

Sick baby girl…

We’ve had an interesting week…Sydney has had some kind of stomach bug and started throwing up blood…which sent me in a quick panic of dropping Jace off and heading to the ER at 11:30 Wednesday night.  She’s doing so much better, still throwing up and not herself, but improving nevertheless, praise the Lord.  It made me feel so blessed to have sweet friends.  I can’t thank Sara and Christa enough for taking care of Jace, bringing me food and clothes up at the hospital and even cleaning my house before I returned home… doing this while both their husbands are gone too.  Thank you Bethany too for some yummy Subway, sure beats any hospital food. :)    Of course Jason felt horrible that he’s out in the field for another 2 weeks, but is glad his baby girl is doing better.   We’re back at home relaxing and enjoying the pretty weather…praying we continue to get better and nobody else gets sick!!
