Sorry posts are kind of sporadic around here, but here’s a little update…

5 people makes for some more craziness in our family which we are realizing is our new normal

18 months we’ve been in Monterey…our time is almost finished. 

8 days until Jason graduates with his MBA, so proud of him.

7 weeks old today…can’t believe Lydia is already that old…. how time has flown by.

5 days until the movers come and pack up all our household goods. 

9 days until we leave CA and head south.

Birthday Party

I apologize for my absence….we are doing well…waiting for baby #3 to arrive…we did have a birthday for both kiddos today.  Wanted to do something before this baby comes.  Jace wanted a Star Wars birthday and of course Sydney wanted  a princess one, so we combined the two…a little crazy, but they both had a blast.  Now that it’s over this baby can come anytime…

Raspberry Picking

A few weekends ago we got to go pick raspberries…I think we consumed just as many as we picked and purchased…they probably should have weighed both kiddos before and after to get a true account of just how much we owed them.  They were super fresh organic raspberries…I will definitely miss all this fresh produce…just nothing like it.

College Football

Oh it has begun…doesn’t quite feel like fall in this part of the country, but it does in our house…for college football has started.  Even though Texas A&M’s game got postponed this week we still were ready to celebrate.  We are ready for our game next Saturday!!

First Day of Preschool

So I’m a little behind…preschool started over 2 weeks ago…but here are our sweet preschoolers!!  Jace’s last year of preschool and Sydney’s first.  I can’t believe how incredibly big they are.  They also get so excited to go to the same school.

Sweet Faces

Here are a few sweet faces that Aunt Jenn captured this weekend…I have lots of pictures to post from our adventures to Yosemite…but here are a couple of the kiddos to hold you over….

4th of July

We enjoyed our fourth of July and headed to the local parade…they don’t have fireworks in Monterey or anywhere even remotely close, so we spent our evening grilling and hanging out with friends.

My Museum

The local kids museum has $2 admission the first Tuesday of every month…so that is when I promise the kiddos we can go.  They love this little museum and all the fun things to do there. 

Park Time

We have been keeping busy lately…summer is in full swing…doesn’t feel like it, but school is out and the pools are open (well the pools don’t close because they are all heated or indoors).   So we won’t be laying out by the pool or working on our tan this summer, but we will enjoy the beach in our sweatshirts…and the sunshine that finally appears after the morning fog.  I’m still learning after a year that Northern California is just a little different…this was a Sunday afternoon we took advantage of some sunshine for playtime in the park with Daddy.
